About Kamoto

Organizational diagnostic experts

Built from the
operator’s seat.

We turn operational noise into structure, rhythm, and responsibility teams can actually carry.

The two lenses

Different disciplines.
One operating logic.

One reads the operating system. The other reads the room.
Together, they turn diagnosis into structure leaders can use.

Kata, Kamoto co-founder

Kata

Facilitation. Leadership depth. Stabilisation.

Kata works where leadership intent has to become usable behaviour—in workshops, role clarity, operating rhythm and the disciplined human work of making change hold.

  • Coaching, mentoring and leadership load
  • Stabilisation after change
Balázs, Kamoto co-founder

Balázs

Pattern reading. Executive access. Talent leverage.

Balázs reads the business pressure behind the hiring need: unclear roles, overloaded leadership, broken decision rhythm and the structural reasons recruitment alone often fails.

What shaped us

The work changed how we see the work.

Kata — The moment after the workshop

“Leaders understood the problem in the room. But on Monday, the organization pulled them back into the old rhythm.”

Insight is not enough. Clarity in a workshop feels possible, but outside the room, the old patterns have more power. Our work is about helping leaders stabilise the change so it can survive real pressure.

Balázs — The question behind the hiring request

“Many conversations started with a hiring need. The real constraint was often somewhere else.”

We learned to look behind the job description. Unclear ownership, overloaded leadership and avoided decisions were often the real constraints, and hiring alone could not fix them.

Why we built Kamoto

We kept seeing the same pattern.

Growth rarely breaks an organisation in one dramatic moment. It usually happens more quietly: more people, more meetings, more ownership gaps, more leadership load—until the real issue is no longer capacity, but structure.

01

Companies hired more.

The instinct was to add capacity into a system that was already unclear.

02

Complexity increased.

More people created more handoffs, dependencies and blurred ownership.

03

Leadership load collapsed.

Leaders became the escalation path, the memory and the operating glue.

04

The problem was structural.

Hiring was not wrong. It was simply being asked to solve the wrong problem.

What clients tend to value

What it is like to work with us.

Recurring themes from client and participant feedback—synthesized, not verbatim.

It was clear from the beginning that Kamoto was not trying to fit people into a diagnostic template. They wanted to understand how the organization actually worked. The facilitated sessions helped people open up quickly and brought important realities to the surface that the data alone had not revealed.

Leadership team

They did not polish the uncomfortable parts or tell us what they thought we wanted to hear. They showed us the operating reality as they saw it—whether it was convenient or not. They worked as thinking partners, brought an independent point of view and were prepared to challenge familiar corporate assumptions.

Executive sponsor

The work was rigorous and the subjects were not always easy, but the conversations never felt heavy or clinical. They created an atmosphere that was professional, direct and genuinely enjoyable. People engaged more openly, and difficult discussions moved much more easily than we expected.
